Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidate ke paas kisi recognized university se Bachelor’s Degree hona mandatory hai.

Saath hi candidate ko Odia language padhne, likhne aur bolne aani chahiye. Usually Odia subject school level par pass hona required hota hai.

Age Limit (01 January 2025 ke hisaab se)

• Minimum Age – 21 years
• Maximum Age – 42 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC / ST / SEBC / Women / Ex-Servicemen – 5 years
• PwD Candidates – 10 years

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates ko Odisha Revised Pay Rules (ORSP) 2017 ke under salary milegi:

• Group A Posts: ₹56,100 starting basic pay
• Group B Posts: ₹44,900 starting basic pay

Iske alawa DA, HRA aur other government allowances bhi milte hain, jo time-to-time revise hote rehte hain.

Selection Process (3 Stages)

OPSC Civil Services selection total 3 stages me hota hai:

1️⃣ Preliminary Exam (Objective Type)

• Paper 1 – General Studies (200 Marks)
• Paper 2 – General Studies (200 Marks, qualifying nature)
• Negative marking – 0.33 per wrong answer

Prelims qualify karne wale candidates hi mains me jaate hain.

2️⃣ Main Examination (Descriptive)

Total 9 papers hote hain:

• Odia & English (Qualifying)
• Essay
• General Studies I, II, III, IV (Ethics)
• Optional Subject Paper I & II

Written exam total 1750 marks ka hota hai.

3️⃣ Interview / Personality Test

Interview 250 marks ka hota hai. Final merit list mains + interview marks ke basis par banegi (Total 2000 marks).
