Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

•  Indian citizens
• Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan or Tibetan refugees settled before Jan 1, 1962
• Persons of Indian origin migrated from select countries (with eligibility certificate)

Educational Qualification

Option A

• B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / Regular B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council

Option B

•  Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery
•  Registered with State Nursing Council
• 1-year experience in a 50-bedded hospital post-diploma

Age Limit

• 18 to 30 years as on May 7, 2025
• Relaxation : SC – 5 yrs, OBC – 3 yrs, PwBD – 10 yrs, Central Govt. Employees – 5 yrs, Ex-Servicemen – Military Service + 3 yrs

Salary & Benefits

• Pay Level : Central Pay Matrix Level 7
• Salary: Rs. 44,900 – Rs. 1,42,400 + Allowances
• Probation Period.: 2 years (with induction training)

Selection Process

1.Written Exam (100 Marks, 2 Hours, English Medium)

•  Part 1 : Subject Knowledge (Nursing) – 70 Marks
• Part 2 : Practical-based Questions – 30 Marks
•    Cut-Off Marks
•      UR/OBC/EWS: 50%
•       PwBD: 45%
•      SC: 40%
• Negative Marking : 0.25 for each wrong answer

2. Merit List based on total marks (tie-breaker: age > qualification marks)

3. Counselling & Document Verification (1:3 ratio)

4. Medical Examination
